There is something so lovely about a white cat!  Personally I find they give an impression of sweetness and peace.  For this reason I really enjoy painting them and I find I often want to place them in scenes that are calm and tranquil.  With this particular painting, my white cat ended up outside under a soothing night sky with a lovely moon and twinkling stars.  I completed this painting with acrylic paint on watercolour paper.  It measures 4 x 6 inches, a perfect size to put into a photo frame.  You can find it in the shop on my website here.

Do you ever try to entice your kitty to play with a toy to get some exercise?  Or maybe you bought him or her a toy because it was so cute you just couldn’t resist getting it and now kitty should want to play with it.  I have done these things myself only to be rebuked by my cat with his big grumpy face expression.  Ho-hum, so much for trying to be a good cat owner.  Here is a painting for all of us who have made this grave error.  It is acrylic on canvas and measures 11 x 14 inches.  This painting has been sold.
